A Private Pricing Opinion — what your apartment at 142 Clymer Street would likely sell for today, what it costs to sell, and what you’d walk away with — reviewed personally against condition, exposures, renovation quality, and the competition actually on the market.

About the building

142 Clymer Street is a six-home condominium on the Bedford Avenue corner in southern Williamsburg. Nataliya Donskoy designed the six-story building, which received DOB sign-off in September 2023. The Attorney General accepted Bedford Clymer LLC's new-construction offering in July 2022. The brick building occupies the combined 142–144 Clymer Street address and contains large residential floor plates.

The apartments include five-bedroom layouts with multiple bathrooms, separate dining space and laundry rooms. The corner location permits windows on more than one frontage, and an upper home has three-sided exposure. Balconies and rooftop deck areas provide private outdoor space in selected residences. An elevator serves the building, with storage in the basement and central air within the homes.

What to know if you’re buying

Large apartments still belong to a six-owner association. Elevator servicing and exterior work are spread across only six residences. A mortgage lender reviewing this small project may assess ownership concentration and common insurance separately from the size or value of the apartment being financed.

Comparable buildings

  • 251 South 3rd Street: a small condominium farther north on the Southside, with a larger ownership group.
  • 24 Dunham Place: a low-rise condominium closer to the Williamsburg waterfront for comparing newer apartment layouts.
  • 256 North 9th Street: a farther Northside peer with boutique new-development scale and a similarly tall envelope relative to its apartment count.

The neighborhood

For the full neighborhood — its buildings, character, and market — read The Roebling Team Guide to Williamsburg.

How to read the facts on this page. Items attributed to an offering plan describe the building as it was offered at that filing — unit mix, square footage, the amenity program as planned. They are not a statement about how the building operates today. Tax and compliance figures are sourced separately to current City records and carry their own dates. House rules, staffing and fee policy can change by board resolution without any public filing: treat every policy line here as a starting point for diligence and confirm it with the managing agent. Where this page compares one building or neighborhood to another, that is our analysis of the recorded record — it names the measure, the period and the sample it rests on, and it is an observation about medians rather than a prediction about any particular apartment.
