Why The Ambassadors matters
The Ambassadors is a 28-residence building in South of Fifth, the southernmost part of Miami Beach, completed in 2000. Its size keeps it out of the large-tower category. The 28 residences share one pool, one garage and one association.
It is not oceanfront. What it offers is a South Beach address, a garage and a pool, in a smaller building than the Portofino-area towers to the south.
South of Fifth
South of Fifth, known as SoFi, is the district south of Fifth Street, ending at South Pointe Park and the cut at Government Cut. It has residential streets, the park and its pier, and the beach at the south end of Ocean Drive. The district also holds the Portofino-area towers, the largest buildings in the neighborhood.
The Ambassadors sits on Michigan Avenue, inland from Ocean Drive, within walking distance of South Pointe Park and the beach.
Architecture and unit composition
The building is a five-story concrete condominium with an elevator, built in 2000. Ask the association for the unit schedule. Many residences have in-unit washers and dryers.
Parking is in a covered garage.
Building operations
The Ambassadors is a small condominium. The monthly charge covers the common elements; ask the association what it includes beyond that.
For any purchase, request the current budget, the reserve balance, the structural integrity reserve study, the milestone inspection report and any special assessments. Florida's milestone inspection and structural integrity reserve study rules apply to condominium buildings of three or more stories; ask for the inspection report, the reserve study and any assessment history. In a 28-unit building, one large assessment lands on few owners.
Policy framework
Pet, rental and minimum-lease rules are set by the association; confirm at offer stage.
Sales context
One recorded sale, November 2025, at $750,000. It is one sale, not a building price, and floor, orientation and renovation level move results.
Unit-level transaction history is maintained in The Roebling Research Library and shared with clients during diligence.

Recorded sales history
Recorded transfers for this building in Miami-Dade County public records, back to May 2000. Prices reflect the recorded consideration; transfers the Property Appraiser does not qualify as arms-length are shown unmarked. Nominal-consideration paper transfers (deeds into trusts and LLCs, estate and family transfers, corrective deeds) are part of the record but not sales, and are omitted from this table. Recording lags closing, so the newest sales can take several weeks to appear.
