Ocean’s Edge at Singer Island

Explore Ocean’s Edge at Singer Island: 40 beachfront condominiums, private elevator arrival, generous terraces and a substantial recreation program.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

Ocean’s Edge combines a small residential count with a substantial beachfront setting. The Toll Brothers condominium at 5050 North Ocean Drive contains 40 homes, with private elevator arrival, terraces and shared spaces organized around the Atlantic. It belongs to the City of Riviera Beach, on Singer Island, rather than the Town of Palm Beach.

Its appeal is the combination of generous apartments and a single residential tower. Buyers can compare a relatively compact ownership community with the broader amenity collection usually associated with larger developments. The building’s Mediterranean character also gives it a different architectural presence from the newer glass towers along North Ocean Drive.

A private arrival and several apartment types

The residential design separates the main elevator arrival from service circulation. A foyer provides a transition into the apartment, while terraces extend the living space toward the water. This arrangement is particularly relevant for buyers who entertain frequently or want a clear separation between their front entrance and deliveries. Local building coverage describes the private entries and separate service elevator.

Ocean’s Edge should still be approached as a collection of different homes. The original manager’s questionnaire records a substantial range of apartment sizes; current resale examples also show several layouts. A larger floor area may add a bedroom, enlarge gathering rooms or change the terrace, so it is worth comparing actual plans before choosing a preferred floor.

The same applies to the outlook. An oceanfront building can contain apartments with different balances of Atlantic, coastline and Intracoastal views. Study which direction the main living area faces and where bedrooms sit relative to the terrace. A west-facing room and an east-facing breakfast area support different daily routines.

Beachfront recreation

The grounds include an oceanside pool and spa, with a boardwalk connecting the property to the beach. Indoor facilities include fitness, social and media spaces. The historical manager-supplied building record and current local coverage both document the building’s emphasis on recreation and service.

That mix allows an owner to move between the apartment, shared rooms and shoreline without making every gathering an event at home. During a visit, follow the complete route from the residence to the pool and sand; the convenience of that route is part of the building’s value to someone who expects to use the beach often.

Buildings to compare

  • 5000 North Ocean offers a newer, 48-home oceanfront setting with flow-through plans and a small group of upper duplexes.
  • One Singer Island reduces the community to 15 homes, with a distinctive mix of east/west apartments and upper full-floor residences.
  • Beachfront at Singer Island adds two-story townhomes to a tower development, making it useful for a buyer still weighing an apartment against a house-like layout.

What to know if you are buying

Compare the apartment line before the floor number. Ask for a plan with orientation and distinguish enclosed living area from outdoor space. In a building with several substantial layouts, a higher floor does not automatically provide the room arrangement or outdoor exposure that suits you best.
