One Singer Island

A guide to One Singer Island, a 15-home beachfront condominium with east/west apartments, upper full-floor residences and architecture shaped by its narrow site.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

One Singer Island is a 15-residence beachfront condominium at 5310 North Ocean Drive in Riviera Beach. Its small scale is only part of the story. The building contains two different residential arrangements: east- and west-oriented apartments on lower residential levels, followed by full-floor homes above. That distinction creates a more useful starting point for a search than the building’s name or an advertised view alone.

Completed in 2006, the condominium was designed by Swedroe Architecture for WCI Communities. It is an existing residential building on Singer Island, within Palm Beach County.

Architecture shaped by the site

Swedroe attributes the building’s slender form to an unusually narrow parcel and the adjacent protected mangrove wetland. Its project description explains that the first five residential levels are divided into east and west homes, while the upper five are arranged with one residence per floor.

The result is a building where two apartments can offer markedly different living experiences. A full-floor home occupies a wider range of orientations, while an east or west apartment concentrates its principal spaces toward one side. Buyers who want an Atlantic-facing living room should establish that feature directly, rather than relying on the words “oceanfront condominium.”

A County record for one residence explicitly uses the designation “West Penthouse” and records approximately 2,900 square feet. Other marketed homes are much larger. The lesson is practical: the apartment identifier, legal description and measured plan belong together when assembling a comparison.

A small building with shared recreation

One Singer Island’s amenity collection includes a pool and spa, fitness facilities, media and club rooms, and garage parking. Beach access is documented in the manager-supplied building questionnaire. Current local published residence descriptions corroborate the pool, fitness and indoor gathering spaces.

These facilities make the building more than a collection of large apartments, but its 15-home scale remains central to the proposition. A buyer may prefer a small group of residences sharing a pool and common rooms, particularly when comparing it with a larger development containing several towers or a hotel. Visit the shared rooms as well as the apartment to see whether their proportions and atmosphere suit your intended use.

Buildings to compare

  • Oasis Singer Island makes full-floor living the central format across two towers; it is a useful alternative when that arrangement is essential.
  • Ocean’s Edge offers a 40-home tower and a broader set of apartment sizes within another established beachfront community.
  • VistaBlue offers a newer architectural expression, substantial terraces and an elevated pool deck in a 58-residence building.

What to know if you are buying

Establish east, west or full-floor before comparing price or area. Bring the floor plan to the visit and trace the views from the living room, primary bedroom and outdoor space separately. The architect’s configuration explains why photographs from one apartment cannot stand in for the experience of another.
