About the building
660 Dean Street is a brick condominium formed through the enlargement of an existing three-story building. Architect John Haskpoulos's alteration added two floors; DOB issued the permit in May 2007 and signed off the work in November 2008. The five-residence condominium filing was accepted that July under sponsor 660 Dean Street Associates LLC. The building stands near Vanderbilt Avenue on a block of Prospect Heights outside a designated historic district.
The base contains a garden duplex with a finished lower recreation level and a private south-facing backyard. Upper apartments include two-bedroom, two-bath layouts with home-office space of roughly 1,080 square feet and private balconies. Central air conditioning and washer/dryers were incorporated into the conversion, and storage is available within the building. The garden home's two-level plan includes substantially more interior area than the upper flats.

Sales sourced from NYC Department of Finance recorded transfers (BBL 3-01137-7502) and verified listing data. Apartment-level facts (line, condition, asking-price context) curated and cross-verified by The Roebling Team research desk. Not all transactions cross-verify with ACRIS records — sponsor and LLC purchases sometimes record at stipulated values rather than market price; square footage from recorded condo declarations and offering plans.

What to know if you’re buying
The J-51 has ended. The 14-year benefit that began in 2012 last appeared on the 2026 roll. Earlier carrying-cost figures can therefore reflect a tax benefit that no longer applies to this five-owner condominium.

The neighborhood
For the full neighborhood — its buildings, character, and market — read The Roebling Team Guide to Prospect Heights.
How to read the facts on this page. Items attributed to an offering plan describe the building as it was offered at that filing — unit mix, square footage, the amenity program as planned. They are not a statement about how the building operates today. Tax and compliance figures are sourced separately to current City records and carry their own dates. House rules, staffing and fee policy can change by board resolution without any public filing: treat every policy line here as a starting point for diligence and confirm it with the managing agent. Where this page compares one building or neighborhood to another, that is our analysis of the recorded record — it names the measure, the period and the sample it rests on, and it is an observation about medians rather than a prediction about any particular apartment.
