Nautilus 220

A guide to Nautilus 220 in Lake Park: two 24-story waterfront condominium towers, a marina-side mixed-use setting, recreation spaces and ground-floor dining.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

Nautilus 220 brings condominium living, dining and commercial activity together at 220 Lake Shore Drive in the Town of Lake Park. Its two 24-story towers, which received a certificate of occupancy on December 22, 2025, rise beside the Lake Park Harbor Marina, with an extensive recreation program above a base that also welcomes restaurant patrons and other visitors.

The setting is on the mainland side of the Intracoastal, looking toward the marina, waterway and Atlantic beyond. For buyers, the central proposition is a substantial residential building with shared facilities and dining close at hand. It is a different everyday experience from a beachfront tower whose grounds are almost entirely residential.

From construction to an occupied condominium

The Town announced a certificate of occupancy on December 22, 2025. A County record documents a condominium closing in January 2026, followed by the ceremonial grand opening on March 25. The current developer website describes the property as complete and welcoming residents.

These dates distinguish the building’s delivery from its public opening, and they make apartments and shared spaces available for direct evaluation. Published reporting in July 2026 describes litigation in Palm Beach County between the developer and its general contractor over completion, payment and recorded liens, and says contractor and subcontractor liens have been recorded against the property. These are allegations in pending cases, not findings, and the reported lien amounts vary. Before closing on any residence, obtain a title search showing recorded liens and the release or bond status for that unit, and ask the association for its list of open common-element work.

Homes above an active waterfront

Residences emphasize extensive glazing and terraces. Independent opening coverage describes ten-foot ceilings, impact windows and sliding doors, and porcelain flooring. Views change with tower, apartment line and height: the marina in the foreground, Intracoastal traffic and a distant ocean horizon can occupy different parts of the outlook.

That makes orientation especially useful when comparing homes. A room looking across the marina can feel quite different from one facing another part of the development, even at a similar elevation. Inspect the view from normal seated positions, then check how the terrace connects to living and sleeping areas.

The development’s mixed-use base contains restaurants, retail and office uses. These create opportunities to dine or meet visitors close to home, while introducing activity beyond the residential community. The resident entrance, elevator route and parking arrangement are therefore as important to understand as the apartment plan. A visit during dinner service can reveal how the different uses work alongside one another without assuming that every entrance or facility is shared.

Recreation at several levels

The developer’s opening announcement describes an outdoor amenity deck of approximately one acre, a resort-style pool, a rooftop lap pool and wellness spaces. Indoor recreation includes a club room, theater, billiards and bowling. Interiors by Steven G designed the lobby, common areas and fifth-floor amenities.

Independent opening coverage also identifies a yoga studio, children’s and teen recreation spaces, conference areas and a podcasting studio. This breadth gives the building a different emphasis from a condominium centered mainly on a pool and gym: residents can compare work, social and recreation spaces as part of the home search.

SeaHawk Prime by David Burke and The Birdie Dockside Bar and Grill add ground-floor dining. They are commercial destinations serving residents and visitors, distinct from the condominium’s resident facilities. A restaurant table, a club room and a private terrace can each serve a different kind of gathering.

The marina is a separate destination

The Town’s marina information describes Lake Park Harbor Marina as a public facility with boat slips, reservations and a park setting. Its proximity is part of Nautilus’s surroundings, but apartment ownership alone does not establish a slip or private control of the waterfront.

The Town owns the marina and the adjoining waterfront land. A developer proposal to redevelop that land is the subject of litigation between the developer and the Town. In August 2026 a court entered a judgment, by stipulation, that the Town violated the Sunshine Law in selecting the developer, and the Town’s counterclaim says it will seek to void the leases; no ruling on the leases was located as of October 14, 2026. The proposal is not part of the condominium, and the public record reviewed does not establish any marina facility, slip or waterfront privilege for residents. A boating-focused buyer needs the current berth agreement and operating information applicable to the proposed use, including vessel suitability and whether any arrangement transfers with a purchase.

Buildings to compare

  • Water Club North Palm Beach offers three towers and villas in a waterfront residential community with day docks.
  • Lake Point Tower provides an established marina-side setting within Old Port Cove, with tower and lanai homes.
  • 5000 North Ocean offers a smaller, directly beachfront condominium on Singer Island for buyers prioritizing the sand over a mainland marina setting.

What to know if you are buying

Review the apartment, mixed-use circulation and marina arrangements separately. Walk from the parking space to the residence, then to the shared amenities and dining areas. Establish which spaces are residential, which welcome the public and what any boating agreement actually provides. Those distinctions are central to how Nautilus functions day to day.
