Lake Park

Explore Lake Park waterfront living through Nautilus 220, the public harbor marina and the town setting, with clear distinctions between residences and boating rights.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

Lake Park adds a mainland waterfront choice to the Palm Beaches condominium search. Around Nautilus 220 and the harbor marina, the setting combines residential towers, public waterfront activity and commercial uses. Buyers can compare a home overlooking the lagoon with nearby marina operations and the everyday streets of a separate town.

The town began as Kelsey City in 1923. Its municipal history describes a planned community with residential, business and industrial districts. That background helps explain why today's Lake Park extends beyond its waterfront towers into an established working town.

At a glance

  • Municipality: Town of Lake Park
  • Waterfront setting: Lake Worth Lagoon and Intracoastal corridor
  • Featured condominium: Nautilus 220
  • Public boating facility: Lake Park Harbor Marina
  • Useful comparison: Mixed-use waterfront towers versus primarily residential complexes nearby

Nautilus 220 as a starting point

Nautilus 220, at 220 Lake Shore Drive, comprises two residential towers within a mixed-use development. The Town announced a certificate of occupancy in December 2025, followed by a developer-announced grand opening in March 2026. Its profile distinguishes those completed milestones from the separate arrangements at the neighboring marina.

The mixed-use format is central to the comparison. On a visit, follow the residential arrival route and observe how it relates to commercial entrances, deliveries, parking and shared outdoor places. The home can offer an elevated outlook while the ground level participates in the surrounding town.

Compare the tower, apartment orientation and terrace before relying on a broad waterfront description. The marina, lagoon, neighboring buildings and city exposures appear differently from different homes. The route from the apartment to the facilities you expect to use is equally specific.

The public harbor marina

The Town-operated Lake Park Harbor Marina describes 112 slips within a public park setting, with boat ramps, trailer parking and transient dockage by reservation. Trees, benches and outdoor seating contribute to a waterfront experience that includes people using the marina independently of nearby residences.

For a boat owner, berth arrangements deserve their own inquiry. Establish current availability, the operator's agreement and the requirements for the intended vessel. Purchasing an apartment nearby does not itself convey a marina slip. A proposed redevelopment of the Town-owned marina land is the subject of litigation between the developer and the Town. In August 2026 a court entered a judgment, by stipulation, that the Town violated the Sunshine Law in selecting the developer; no ruling on the leases was located as of October 14, 2026. The proposal is not part of the condominium and does not establish any marina facility, slip or residency privilege.

Understand the mixed-use setting

Some buyers value having activity close to the front door; others place greater weight on a wholly residential arrival. A tour should include the grounds and surrounding streets at the times you expect to use them. This is particularly useful when comparing Nautilus with established complexes in North Palm Beach.

Keep residential services, public businesses and boating agreements distinct. The condominium's current documents establish its common facilities and costs; a restaurant, guest accommodation or marina may operate under a separate agreement. Confirm the specific service you intend to use rather than inferring access from proximity.

Nearby buildings to compare

Water Club North Palm Beach offers a three-tower-and-villa comparison in the neighboring Village. Lake Point Tower, within Old Port Cove, adds an established peninsula setting and marina outlooks. Ocean's Edge at Singer Island shifts the comparison to an Atlantic beachfront condominium in Riviera Beach.

Read the North Palm Beach guide, Singer Island guide and Palm Beaches collection to compare those daily settings.
