Les Jardins Community Guide
Explore Les Jardins in Boca Raton, with custom homes, landscaped common grounds, clubhouse facilities and individual redevelopment opportunities.
The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026
Les Jardins is an established gated community on the east side of St. Andrews Boulevard, south of Yamato Road. Its distinguishing feature is the combination of custom houses and a landscaped residential setting, with shared recreation woven into the neighborhood. It is worth considering when private outdoor space matters alongside a central Boca Raton location.
The community is within Boca Raton city limits and appears in property records as Patch Reef Estates. The recorded name is useful when reviewing a parcel's history, even though Les Jardins is the name used in most residential marketing.

The relationship between house and garden
Les Jardins is a useful place to consider how a home sits within its grounds. A custom residence can devote space to a formal approach, a substantial rear terrace, planted courtyards or a more open lawn. The balance differs from property to property and is not captured by the house's interior measurement alone.
Walk the site as part of a tour. Consider the distance between the house and neighboring buildings, the amount of shade and the privacy of the main outdoor seating area. An established tree canopy may give a garden a settled character, while also shaping the sunlight available to the pool and principal rooms.
The community's shared parks and recreation add another landscape beyond the private lot. They can be useful for a daily walk or a change of setting without a drive. Their value is best understood alongside the particular street and house rather than as a reason to assume that every property enjoys the same outlook.
An established neighborhood that continues to change
Individual properties have evolved through construction, renovation and replacement. The County's record for 2480 NW 43rd Street identifies a 0.62-acre parcel in Patch Reef Estates as vacant in the inspected record. A separate 2026 offering at 4600 NW 24th Way was marketed as a land opportunity. Neither record establishes availability today, but together they illustrate that a search may include the opportunity to create a house as well as purchase a completed one.
That distinction changes the comparison. A finished home can be assessed against its existing layout and condition. A property acquired for construction needs a viable design, a clear approval process and a budget that accounts for the site. Substantial lot area does not by itself determine the permitted footprint or guarantee that a proposed plan will be approved.
For existing houses, distinguish an update to finishes from changes to roofs, openings, electrical service or mechanical systems. The fit between the existing plan and the intended use is often the starting point for a sensible renovation.
Shared amenities and association costs
The clubhouse, pool and courts provide a common setting for recreation. City records identify work at the Les Jardins clubhouse, while published residential information describes fitness facilities and landscaped common areas. Current operating rules, guest access and any separately charged activities should be established through the association.
The property details include a dated listing example of association charges and a transfer contribution. Those figures should not substitute for the association's current closing statement. They also do not include the private residence's maintenance, insurance or the costs of a proposed construction project.
Before committing to a house or homesite, review the current architectural process, association budget and applicable use restrictions. For substantial work, that review should happen while the design remains flexible.
Useful comparisons
The Preserve offers another established city neighborhood with shared facilities. Long Lake Estates and Fieldbrook Estates provide additional comparisons when more private land is central to the search.
