The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026
Stratford Arms is an established beachfront condominium at 2600 South Ocean Boulevard, now marketed as Oceans Edge. Built in 1975, it sits along the southern part of Boca Raton's oceanfront corridor, south of the inlet.
The property is distinguished by substantial three-bedroom apartment plans, semi-private elevator arrivals and a direct relationship to the beach. The newer name reflects a change in the building's presentation; it does not describe a separate development or a newly constructed tower.

A southern oceanfront address
This part of South Ocean Boulevard is primarily residential. Stratford Arms faces the Atlantic directly, with the coastal road to the west. Its location provides a different setting from the towers around Lake Boca Raton or the newer condominiums within downtown's street network.
Apartment scale and building history
County records give Residence 7B a particularly clear area breakdown: 2,101 square feet under air and a 250-square-foot balcony. The apartment is recorded with three bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath. Keeping enclosed and outdoor space separate makes the comparison more useful than a single combined square-footage figure.
The semi-private elevator arrangement is another meaningful feature. It changes the transition from shared circulation to the front door and can make the arrival feel more intimate within a substantial tower. The apartment's own entry foyer then determines how directly visitors enter the living space.
The Oceans Edge name is reported to date from 2023. Renovation descriptions associated with the change refer to common areas and building systems. Those accounts should be read with their dates: an updated marketing identity does not establish that every apartment has been renovated or that all capital work is complete.
Amenities and ownership considerations
Reported facilities include a heated pool with a swimming lane, tennis, fitness and sauna facilities, social and game rooms, a library and outdoor picnic space. Garage parking, staffed entry and on-site management support the residential operation.
An ownership comparison should connect the particular apartment's monthly assessment with the current budget, reserves and approved building work. A three-bedroom home with a renovated kitchen and baths may present very differently from an apartment requiring a full interior project, even when the original plan is similar. The shared building obligations remain a separate part of that decision.
