Ocean Towers
A guide to Ocean Towers at 2800 South Ocean Boulevard, the twin oceanfront towers formerly known as Whitehall South.
The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026
Ocean Towers occupies an oceanfront site at 2800 South Ocean Boulevard in southern Boca Raton. The development consists of two residential towers and was previously known as Whitehall South. The north and south buildings share the same street address, making the tower designation an important part of identifying a particular apartment.
This is an established beachfront condominium with a broad range of apartment renovations and exposures. Its appeal rests on the direct relationship to the sand, elevated views and shared services, with a scale quite different from Boca's small boutique buildings.

A southern beachfront setting
The building sits along the coastal residential corridor south of Boca Raton Inlet. That position places it beyond the lake-and-beach cluster around Camino Real, with the ocean immediately east of the property. The route toward downtown follows the coastal road before crossing inland.
A tower designation and apartment line tell more than the shared address. They establish how a residence faces the water, the other building and the approach to the property. The most useful comparison follows the view from the living room and principal bedroom, then considers how the balcony changes that experience.
Building history and apartment plans
County records place individual apartments in the early 1970s. South Tower Residence 11J, for example, is recorded as a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment of 1,425 square feet, with a 1973 construction date. Other lines and combined apartments should be evaluated on their own measured plans.
The property adopted the Ocean Towers name following a reported renovation program in 2012. That history helps explain why older documents and listings may still use Whitehall South. It should not be confused with Whitehall at 2000 South Ocean Boulevard, which is a different condominium.
Shared amenities and ownership
The reported common facilities include two heated pools, fitness space and social rooms with kitchens. Doorman service, security and on-site management form part of the building's service profile. The pools and direct beach setting are the central outdoor amenities.
For an ownership comparison, the relevant monthly figure is the assessment assigned to the particular apartment. Parking, storage and the treatment of any combined residences should be checked with the association records. Building-wide capital work also needs to be distinguished from the renovation visible inside a listed home.
