Whitehall

A guide to Whitehall at 2000 South Ocean Boulevard, an established oceanfront condominium with semi-private landings and a beachside pool.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

Whitehall is an oceanfront condominium at 2000 South Ocean Boulevard, built in 1971. The 18-story building belongs to the established residential corridor south of Boca Raton Inlet, with the Atlantic directly beside the property.

The address is important: this Whitehall is a separate condominium from the former Whitehall South, now called Ocean Towers, farther along South Ocean Boulevard. Its own apartment plans, association and shared facilities should be evaluated independently.

An established beachfront building

Whitehall's defining physical feature is the direct beach setting. The tower rises behind its shared outdoor spaces, giving residents a choice between the pool environment and the sand. That immediate connection is different from a condominium that reaches the beach by crossing Ocean Boulevard.

The repeated balconies and apartment levels reflect the building's early-1970s origins. Its current interior character is more varied because apartments have been renovated individually. The exterior form, floor level and orientation remain fundamental to each home even where the interior has been substantially reworked.

Plans and the arrival sequence

Semi-private elevator landings reportedly serve two apartments at a time. That arrangement reduces the length of common circulation before reaching the front door and is a meaningful point of comparison with a conventional corridor building.

County records show Residence 3B at 1,236 square feet, with two bedrooms and two baths. Larger plans and combined homes appear in resale descriptions, so that example should not be treated as a uniform building size. Enclosed area and outdoor space also need to be measured on the same basis when comparing apartments.

Facilities and shared obligations

Reported amenities include a beachside saltwater pool, cabanas, spa and sauna facilities, fitness space, lounge and recreation rooms, barbecue areas and underground parking with bicycle storage. Staffed services and security form part of the building's residential operation.

Cabana and parking arrangements require their own review. A facility being present on the property does not establish that a particular apartment includes a dedicated right to use it. The association's current documents should explain allocations, separate charges and guest arrangements.

The apartment assessment, reserves and approved shared work provide the basis for comparing carrying costs. Interior renovation and building maintenance are separate categories, and both contribute to the practical decision between Whitehall and another beachfront home.

Nearby comparisons

Placide offers a smaller nine-story setting nearby. Stratford Arms, also marketed as Oceans Edge, provides larger three-bedroom plan comparisons. Ocean Towers is the separate twin-tower development formerly called Whitehall South.
