About the building
122 Fort Greene Place is an Italianate brick townhouse dating to 1855, built by Thomas Skelly and Michael Murray. It is part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music Historic District. The Attorney General accepted the four-residence condominium conversion in December 2007 under sponsor Action Real Estate LLC. The building is also known as Landmark Estates Condos.
Each residence occupies a full floor, with interiors generally around 1,400 square feet. High ceilings and original marble fireplaces remain features of the house. The layout mix includes a parlor-floor home, a garden configuration and an upper home with roof-deck access. The Brooklyn Home Company designed interiors within the conversion. Central air conditioning and an intercom support the residential use, while the shared staircase remains the route to the upper apartments.

Sales sourced from NYC Department of Finance recorded transfers (BBL 3-02112-7501) and verified listing data. Apartment-level facts (line, condition, asking-price context) curated and cross-verified by The Roebling Team research desk. Not all transactions cross-verify with ACRIS records — sponsor and LLC purchases sometimes record at stipulated values rather than market price; square footage from recorded condo declarations and offering plans.

What to know if you’re buying
Four floor-through owners share a designated nineteenth-century shell. Exterior masonry, window and roof work must be coordinated across the small association and the historic district's requirements. For a home with outdoor access, the declaration's assignment of use and maintenance rights also determines how garden or roof work is divided among the four interests.

The neighborhood

How to read the facts on this page. Items attributed to an offering plan describe the building as it was offered at that filing — unit mix, square footage, the amenity program as planned. They are not a statement about how the building operates today. Tax and compliance figures are sourced separately to current City records and carry their own dates. House rules, staffing and fee policy can change by board resolution without any public filing: treat every policy line here as a starting point for diligence and confirm it with the managing agent. Where this page compares one building or neighborhood to another, that is our analysis of the recorded record — it names the measure, the period and the sample it rests on, and it is an observation about medians rather than a prediction about any particular apartment.
