St. Andrews Country Club Community Guide

Explore St. Andrews Country Club in the Boca Raton area, from custom estate homes and golf views to two courses, racquet sports, wellness and membership considerations.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

St. Andrews Country Club combines custom estate homes with a substantial club program in the Boca Raton area. Golf is a central part of the setting, but tennis, pickleball, fitness, dining and a full spa give the community a broader daily rhythm. It is particularly useful to consider when several people in a household want different activities within the same residential setting.

The homes sit in unincorporated Palm Beach County, with Boca Raton mailing addresses. That distinction matters when comparing jurisdiction, permits and services. St. Andrews Country Club is also a separate place from St. Andrews Club on the coastal Delray Beach corridor.

Homes and their relationship to the grounds

Established in 1982, St. Andrews has evolved through individual home construction and replacement. The club's residential overview describes a single community of custom homes rather than a collection of separately branded residential enclaves. This gives buyers a shared club setting while leaving substantial differences among individual houses.

Those differences reach beyond finishes. The residence marketed at 17063 Castlebay Court illustrates contemporary construction with a two-story living space, extensive glazing and an upstairs guest-bedroom arrangement. An established estate on Saxony Court illustrates another format: a substantially larger lot, gardens and multiple rooms for work and entertaining. Neither example defines the whole community.

A house's position along a fairway or lake changes the experience of its terrace. A broad view may also expose the pool area to golfers or neighboring houses. On a tour, look from the seating area and primary bedroom as well as from the lawn. A long view photographed from the edge of the property may not be the view enjoyed from inside.

Compare the usable outdoor plan with the interior plan. Covered dining, the pool's relationship to the kitchen, guest circulation and the placement of a home office can matter more to everyday living than an additional formal room. For an older home, a successful renovation also depends on whether the underlying layout already suits the way you intend to live.

Two courses and a strong racquet program

The golf program encompasses the Palmer Course and Championship Course. The club identifies golf architect Schulties with the renovated Championship Course and describes an instructional center with indoor hitting, swing-analysis technology and club fitting. Two courses give golf a substantial presence in both the landscape and the recreation program.

The racquet complex adds 14 clay tennis courts, including a stadium court, and four pickleball courts. Instruction, organized play and inter-club competition provide several ways to use those facilities. For a regular player, the relevant comparison is the program and playing arrangements during the months you will be in residence, alongside the courts themselves.

Life beyond a round of golf

The wellness program includes strength and balance work, yoga, Pilates Reformer, spin and aquatics, together with personal training. The spa and salon add treatment rooms and relaxation facilities, including steam rooms and saunas. These are meaningful parts of the community for a household whose interests extend beyond golf.

The club also publishes a year-round social program with dining events, lectures, junior sports and other activities. A seasonal visit should include a look at the relevant calendar: a home can work equally well for short stays or longer residence, while the activities that make it attractive may follow a particular season.

Membership and the purchase

St. Andrews is a membership community; current property listings identify required membership fees. Obtain the applicable membership category, admission steps and full cost schedule directly from the club before committing to a house. The purchase price, property association charges, club charges and expenses of maintaining a private estate serve different purposes and should be compared separately.

The association maintains a formal estoppel request process. A closing-specific statement and current club documents are more useful than a fee quoted in an older listing. A seller's membership or use history does not establish a buyer's approval or exact benefits.

Useful community comparisons

Old Marsh Golf Club offers a smaller northern residential setting organized around one Pete Dye course and wetlands. Compare it when the golf experience and landscape lead the search.

Lost Tree Village brings Atlantic beach life, waterfront homes and several residence formats into a club community. Seminole Landing is useful for buyers considering a coastal estate neighborhood whose residential association is separate from the neighboring golf club.
