Pine Tree Golf Club Community Guide

Explore the neighborhood around Pine Tree Golf Club in the Boynton Beach area: estate houses, and a private club whose membership is entirely separate from homeownership.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

The residential neighborhood around Pine Tree Golf Club offers individual houses in an established golf-course landscape in the Boynton Beach area. Its most important ownership distinction is unusually clear: the private club is separate from, and unaffiliated with, the surrounding residential development.

Buying a house here does not confer membership, club access or an entitlement to apply through the home purchase. Pine Tree also states that real estate agents and prospective homeowners are not admitted to tour the club or obtain membership information. The house and the private institution must be evaluated separately.

The golf landscape and its history

Pine Tree began when a group of golfers acquired former dairy land and commissioned Dick Wilson to design a course. The club's 1961 origins precede many of the larger planned residential clubs in southern Palm Beach County.

The clubhouse occupies an elevated setting and uses a formal columned entrance. Together with the course, it gives the area a recognizable historic framework. That architecture belongs to the private club; it is not a communal clubhouse provided through residential ownership.

For surrounding houses, a golf outlook can be a landscape feature without being an access privilege. The exact position of a lot determines its relationship to fairways, planting and neighboring residences. A course-facing property should be judged on the view and privacy it actually offers.

Individual residential architecture

A county-recorded house on Pine Tree Terrace illustrates the scale of one part of the housing stock. Built in 2001, it has 4,795 square feet under air on approximately 0.47 acre. Its two-story form, stucco exterior and tile roof show the difference between later estate construction and the club's much earlier origin.

That example is not a community-wide size range. Individual homes can differ in design, age and renovation, and the underlying site remains a major part of the comparison. Review private pools, gardens and exterior improvements along with the house itself.

Ownership and comparisons

Residential association charges and restrictions should be obtained for the specific property. They should never be combined with an assumed golf initiation fee or a promise of future membership. The club's separate admission process is not a home-sale benefit.

Delray Dunes, Quail Ridge and Hunters Run offer contrasting models where resident club membership forms part of the purchase. Bocaire provides another estate-home and club comparison farther south. Pine Tree is most relevant when the residential property works on its own merits, independently of access to the golf club.
