About the building
114 Fourth Place is a four-residence condominium inserted into Carroll Gardens' low-rise residential streetscape. Christopher Middleton was the architect on the new-building application, which received final sign-off in January 2013 after the first apartment closings. Its 421-a benefit began that same year and remains active on the 2027 tax roll.
The layout mix includes two-bedroom floor-through homes of approximately 1,100 square feet, a larger lower residence and a three-bedroom upper duplex of roughly 1,450 square feet. North and south exposures bring light from both ends of the floor-through apartments. Concrete floors and oversized windows give the interiors an industrial character. The upper duplex has two private outdoor areas, including a roof deck with broad views, while balconies serve other homes.

Sales sourced from NYC Department of Finance recorded transfers (BBL 3-00470-7504) and verified listing data. Apartment-level facts (line, condition, asking-price context) curated and cross-verified by The Roebling Team research desk. Not all transactions cross-verify with ACRIS records — sponsor and LLC purchases sometimes record at stipulated values rather than market price; square footage from recorded condo declarations and offering plans.

What to know if you’re buying
Four owners share the building's roof and exterior while some homes have exclusive outdoor areas. The penthouse's private roof deck makes the division between personal deck upkeep and common roof waterproofing especially relevant; a substantial roof project would be funded by a very small association.

How to read the facts on this page. Items attributed to an offering plan describe the building as it was offered at that filing — unit mix, square footage, the amenity program as planned. They are not a statement about how the building operates today. Tax and compliance figures are sourced separately to current City records and carry their own dates. House rules, staffing and fee policy can change by board resolution without any public filing: treat every policy line here as a starting point for diligence and confirm it with the managing agent. Where this page compares one building or neighborhood to another, that is our analysis of the recorded record — it names the measure, the period and the sample it rests on, and it is an observation about medians rather than a prediction about any particular apartment.
