Sabal Ridge

A guide to Sabal Ridge at 750 South Ocean Boulevard, also identified as 750 Ocean Condominium, with Arvida history and substantial beachfront apartments.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

Sabal Ridge stands at 750 South Ocean Boulevard, directly on Boca Raton's beachfront. County records also identify the property as 750 Ocean Condominium while retaining Sabal Ridge in the legal description. The two names refer to the same building.

Developed by Arvida in 1968, the condominium was conceived around substantial apartments and a small number of homes sharing each residential level. The building is commonly described as a 17-story collection of 31 residences. Its small ownership group is a useful distinction from larger beachfront complexes.

The original residential concept

Arvida's 1969 advertising described Sabal Ridge through its half-floor homes and limited number of neighbors on a level. That gives a clear account of the original intent: an apartment with the scale and separation associated with a larger residence, combined with shared building services.

The concept remains more useful than the historical promotional language. A broad floor plate can provide room for separate living and dining areas, a study or guest accommodation. Its success depends on circulation and exposure, including whether the apartment's depth brings daylight into the spaces used most often.

The oceanfront site also sits within the stretch of South Ocean Boulevard facing Lake Boca Raton. An apartment with more than one exposure can relate to the Atlantic, the lake and the city in different ways. The exact line and floor matter more than a general claim of waterfront views.

Apartment scale and measurement

County records identify Residence 1S as a three-bedroom apartment with 2,578 total square feet, with three full baths and a half bath. This is a specific recorded example. It should not be replaced with a building-wide minimum drawn from historic brochures or broad resale descriptions.

Shared facilities and ownership

Reported amenities include a pool, direct beach walkway, exercise facilities, bicycle storage and a workshop. The smaller residential collection is a defining characteristic, but it does not by itself establish a particular level of service or a lower operating cost.

Sabal Ridge has been marketed as a 55-plus condominium. The current association documents should confirm eligibility and occupancy rules, particularly when records use the 750 Ocean name. The same document review should establish apartment assessments, parking rights, storage and any pending shared work.
