Woodfield Hunt Club Community Guide
Explore Woodfield Hunt Club, a gated Boca Raton community with 328 single-family homes, tennis and its own clubhouse, distinct from Woodfield Country Club.
The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026
Woodfield Hunt Club is a gated community of 328 single-family homes in Boca Raton, with its own clubhouse and recreation facilities. It is a separate residential community from Woodfield Country Club. The distinction matters because the housing, association obligations and access to the neighboring club are not interchangeable.
The Hunt Club's setting is established and residential, with individual houses across two phases. Its principal shared facilities are tennis, fitness and neighborhood recreation. Someone comparing the two Woodfield names should first decide whether the objective is a custom-house neighborhood or residence within the country club's mandatory-membership structure.

An established residential pattern
County records for Woodfield Hunt Club II show residential property transfers in the mid-1980s. The resulting neighborhood has had decades of individual investment and alteration. A house's current identity can therefore owe as much to later reconstruction as to its original design.
The difference between an original house, a comprehensive renovation and a replacement residence deserves attention. Exterior proportions, ceiling heights and the amount of outdoor space retained around the building can produce very different living conditions even where the bedroom counts are similar. An updated kitchen alone does not establish the scope of the overall renovation.
The association's architectural process applies to exterior work, including changes to landscaping, roofs, fences and building form. Its published application also addresses demolition and reconstruction. These provisions make the approval history relevant when considering either a finished house or a property intended for substantial work.
A prospective addition should be studied with the survey and existing site plan. The appearance of open ground beside a house does not by itself establish the right to enlarge the building. Drainage, setbacks and association approval can influence what can be achieved.
Recreation within the Hunt Club
The community has clay tennis courts, a fitness center and a clubhouse, along with basketball and playground facilities. Tennis instruction is separately chargeable. The clubhouse can be reserved for private events under the association's agreement, so its use is more specific than simply having an unrestricted common room.
These facilities provide a neighborhood recreation program. Golf, the country club's larger dining operation and its other club amenities should not be attributed to Hunt Club ownership. The Hunt Club's own annual association budget is the starting point for understanding its shared expenses.
The country-club distinction
Woodfield Country Club currently describes a one-year trial membership for Hunt Club homeowners. That is a particular participation option governed by the club, not an automatic permanent golf entitlement conveyed with every Hunt Club house. Confirm eligibility, privileges and the terms after the trial directly before including club use in a purchase decision.
The residential association bills quarterly. Current assessments, reserves, pending projects and any transfer charges should be reviewed separately from voluntary club spending.
Woodfield Country Club is the direct comparison for a club-centered purchase. Boca Bath & Tennis, Les Jardins and Estancia provide other established Boca Raton residential settings with different lot patterns and recreational arrangements.
