The Oaks at Boca Raton Community Guide

A guide to The Oaks at Boca Raton, its estate architecture, tennis and pickleball facilities, clubhouse program and association costs.

The Roebling Research Desk · October 2026

The Oaks at Boca Raton combines estate homes with a substantial shared recreation program. Tennis, pickleball, fitness, swimming and dining give the neighborhood an organized social center, while the individual houses retain their own outdoor living areas. It is a useful option for buyers who want both a detached home and activities close to the front door.

The residential community is in unincorporated Palm Beach County, using Boca Raton mailing addresses. Its inland setting should be compared on the strength of the house and the facilities residents expect to use regularly.

Architecture within an established plan

Kenco Communities includes The Oaks in its development portfolio. The neighborhood's houses are not confined to one architectural expression: traditional Mediterranean forms sit within a community that also includes transitional and modern designs. The result makes individual design and renovation history meaningful parts of a home search.

One established example is 17685 Circle Pond Court. The County record identifies a two-story house built in 2006, with concrete-block and stucco walls and a concrete-tile roof. Its substantial interior area is divided between two levels. That arrangement should be compared with a house that places more of its everyday accommodation on the ground floor; the number of bedrooms alone does not reveal how a plan will work.

The useful distinctions are practical as well as visual. Consider whether guest rooms have sufficient separation, how an office relates to the busiest living areas, and how readily the kitchen serves outdoor dining. A remodeled interior should also be assessed for the underlying work on windows, roof, air conditioning and waterproofing. Updated finishes and a comprehensive renovation are different levels of investment.

Tennis and pickleball as everyday amenities

The current racquet program includes lighted HydroGrid tennis courts and dedicated pickleball courts. Lessons, clinics, leagues and organized events add structure beyond casual court use. For a regular player, court availability, booking rules and the balance of instruction and open play will be as relevant as the facility count.

This program also changes the comparison with a private estate neighborhood. Shared facilities can make an evening match or lesson easier to fit into a normal week, while a home farther from the recreation center may provide a different balance of quiet and convenience. Visit both the facilities and the particular street during the times you expect to use them.

Clubhouse life and ownership

The clubhouse provides a second setting for daily activities outside the house. Dining, wellness and the pool broaden the community's appeal to households with different interests. The important question is which parts of that program will become regular habits, since the value of shared facilities depends partly on their actual use.

Kenco describes The Oaks as a community without an equity membership purchase. That description does not establish zero joining costs or an all-inclusive operating budget. Obtain the current association schedule, transfer contributions and any separate charges for lessons, services, dining or reserved activities. The private home's own costs remain separate.

For a purchase involving renovation, review exterior approval requirements alongside the contractor's proposal. The condition of a private pool, terrace and landscape can materially affect the scope of work even when the interior appears complete.

Useful comparisons

Seasons provides another tennis-oriented residential setting. Azura offers a smaller neighborhood with shared amenities, while St. Andrews Country Club adds a golf-centered club structure.
